Habibitch ist eine in Algerien geborene, in Paris lebende, nicht-binäre Femme-Boss-Tänzer*in und Aktivist*in, der*die sich eine Kunstpraxis aufbaut, die so woke ist wie Habibitch selbst. Habibitsch nutzt Räume von der Ballroom-Szene bis hin zu feministischen und institutionellen Bühnen, um das eigene nordafrikanische, queere, dekoloniale Selbst auszudrücken. Seine*ihre Performances und Worte sind immer intersektional und dekolonisieren die Tanzfläche überall, wo sie hingehen. Seine*ihre Politik zu tanzen und seinen*ihren Tanz zu politisieren – das ist das Lebensmotto deiner Lieblings-Habibitch.

At the crossroad of multiple disciplines and identities, Habibitch is an Algerian-born Paris-based non-binary femme boss dancer and activist building themselves an art practice as woke as they are. Using spaces from the Ballroom Scene to feminist and institutional stages to express their north-african queer decolonial self, their performances and words are always intersectional, decolonizing the dancefloor everywhere they go.
