Juke, Footwork und Ghetto House? DJ SWISHA! Seine Sets sind energetische und hybride Trips durch die Soundwelten des US Underground, die mit Club Bangern und Futuristic House das Publikum auf der Tanzfläche pleasuren. Ganz im Sinne des Openers seiner “Nothing But Net”-EP (via Fool’s Gold Records) “Reconstructed Club” wird bei DJ SWISHA alles zerlegt und in hypnotischen Loops mit polyrhythmischen Ethos neu zusammengesetzt. Seine Sets sind improvisiert und Ergebnis eines konstanten Inner Flow. Die Washington Post bezeichnet SWISHA als Leader einer “new generation of black artists reclaiming the roots of techno music”.
