Birthcore ist ein Leipzig local, Resident des mjut Clubs und ein*e vielfältige DJ- und Producing-Person. Seit über sechs Jahren mit Musik und Auflegen beschäftigt, aber auch in anderen Bereichen aktiv, wie dem Tätowieren, werden beim Auflegen alle Genregrenzen liebevoll übergangen. Im Zentrum steht die Kreativität: von Listening Tunes und Ambient bis zu Breakbeat, IDM und Hip Hop, New Wave und Shoegaze. Die Geschwindigkeit wird so geregelt, dass Birthcore selbst gern dazu tanzen würde. Das erste Set überhaupt spielte Birthcore B2B beim „Chaos Communication Congress“. Anfang diesen Jahres war they im jetzt schon legendären kwia in Berlin geladen und spielte dort das erste mal ein Set allein. Für die Balance Konzertnight im UT Connewitz ist Bithcore deshalb geradezu perfekt, um dem internationalen Lineup die nötige Leipzigmagic einzuhauchen.

Birthcore is Leipzig’s local, resident at mjut club and a diverse DJ and producer. Involved in music and DJing for over six years, but also active in other fields (f.ex. tattooing), they continuously ignore all genre boundaries behind the decks. Creativity is what they focus on: from Listening Tunes and Ambient to Breakbeat, IDM, Hip-Hop, New Wave and Shoegaze. The speed of the music is controlled in such a way that Birthcore would love to dance to it too. Their first ever performance as a DJ, was a B2B during Chaos Communication Congress. Earlier this year, they were invited to the now legendary kwia in Berlin, and played their first solo DJ set ever. Bithcore is just perfect to bring in the necessary Leipzig‘s magic into the international line-up for our Balance concert night at UT Connewitz.
