AGY3NA ist nicht nur Neurowissenschaftler und in der Forschung tätig, sondern auch Leipzigs DJ-Star On The Rise! Damit ist ein voller Terminkalender garantiert, neben dem MELT, OFFSónar und Pulsårfestival, spielte AGY3NA in diesem Jahr schon legendäre schwule/queere Veranstaltungen und Venues wie die Herrensauna und das Berghain. Musikalisch facettenreich und groove-driven, mäandern Agyenas Sets durch alle Spielarten Elektronischer Musik, gestatten sich Langsamkeit, aber auch Humor, zelebrieren Percussions und Vocals und überraschen mit 80ies Wave-Elementen. AGY3NAs vielfältige Interessen zeigen sich auch in seiner Radioshow “All Over The Place” via Refuge Worldwide Radio Berlin, sehr zu empfehlen inhaltlich und musikalisch hier die Show zum Thema Afrofuturismus. Bei der aktuellen Leser*innen-Umfrage des GROOVE Magazins wurde AGY3NA unter die TOP 10 Newcomer*innen gewählt. Wir würden sagen: die Sterne stehen gut für AGY3NA – und wir lieben das! Umso erfreuter sind wir, den DJ für ein Heimspiel bei der Balance Clubnacht im IfZ dabei zu haben. Sorry Berlin, sorry Welt, jetzt sind wir dran!

AGY3NA is not only doing research in the fields of attention allocation to emotional facial expressions, but also Leipzig’s rising DJ-star! This guarantees a diary filled with appointments. Besides MELT, OFFSónar and Pulsår, AGY3NA has already played at some of the most legendary gay/queer events and venues like Herrensauna and Berghain this year. Musically diverse and groove-driven, AGY3NA’s sets meander through all varieties of electronic music, allowing slowness, but also humor, celebrating percussions and vocals, and surprising with 80s‘ wave elements. AGY3NA’s diverse interests are also reflected in his radio show „All Over The Place“ on Berlin-based Refuge Worldwide Radio. The show on Afrofuturism is a highly recommended piece of content and music. In the current reader survey conducted by GROOVE magazine, AGY3NA was voted one of the TOP 10 newcomers. In other words: the stars are aligned for AGY3NA and we love that! We are even more happy to have the DJ with us for a home game at the Balance Club Night at IfZ. Sorry Berlin, sorry world, but it’s our turn now!
