Métaraph ist ein Berliner Multitalent, dass die Beschaffenheit und gleichermaßen Fluidität der eigenen nicht-binären Identität konzeptionell durch Performancekunst und Rave Culture erzählt. Auf die erste Solo-Ep “Motus Animi”, die 2020 auf TSA records erschienen ist, folgten zahlreiche Residencies und Slots auf angesagten Technoreihen, wie zum Beispiel GEGEN oder HÖR. Im Grunde geht es Métaraph darum, visuell als auch auditiv, den steinigen Weg zum transzendentalen “Werden” und Selbstausdruck zu beschreiben. Die Soundscapes von Métaraph sind deswegen anspruchsvoll: Sie sollen Gefühle hervorrufen, die manchmal im Einklang und manchmal in Verzerrung zueinander stehen. Zwischen Hardtrance, Acid, Ambient und Industrial Techno stellen harte Kicks, düstere Vocals und atmosphärische Melodien eine wiederkehrende Signatur dar.

Métaraph is Berlin’s multi-talented artist, who conceptually tells us the story of nature and fluidity of their own non-binary identity through performance art and rave culture. The first solo EP „Motus Animi“, released in 2020 on TSA records, was followed by numerous residencies and performances for the hippest techno series, such as GEGEN or HÖR. Métaraph is basically about describing, visually as well as sound-wise, the rocky road to transcendental „becoming“ and self-expression. The soundscapes of Métaraph are therefore pretty demanding: they are meant to evoke feelings that are sometimes in harmony and sometimes in distortion with each other. Hard kicks, gloomy vocals and atmospheric melodies represent a recurring signature between hardtrance, acid, ambient and industrial techno.
